Projects
Hardware + Firmware
Autonomous Drone Navigation System
Senior capstone project. Designed a custom flight controller PCB with STM32H7, integrating IMU, barometer, and GPS modules. Implemented PID control loop for attitude stabilization and GPS-guided waypoint navigation. Achieved ±2m positional accuracy.
Hardware
Solar MPPT Charge Controller
Buck-boost converter with perturb-and-observe MPPT algorithm. Achieves 94% efficiency across a wide input range. Custom PCB with gate drivers and current sensing.
Firmware
RTOS-Based Wearable ECG Monitor
Real-time ECG acquisition on ARM Cortex-M4. DSP filtering pipeline removes motion artifacts. Bluetooth LE streaming to companion app.
RF
2.4 GHz Patch Antenna Array
Designed and simulated a 4-element microstrip patch antenna array for 2.4 GHz. Achieved 8.5 dBi gain with 45° half-power beamwidth. Fabricated and tested on FR4 substrate.
FPGA
FPGA-Based FFT Accelerator
Implemented a 1024-point pipelined FFT in VHDL on Xilinx Artix-7. Achieves 10× speedup vs software. Used for real-time audio spectrum analysis.
